From A Small Fish to a Global Player
Initially, Bob travelled up and down the West Coast sourcing seafood products and eventually spent long periods of time overseas helping small seafood producers to catch, process and add value to their resources. Nowadays these producers are some of the biggest in the world and continue to work closely with us.
In 1996, Bob’s son Kim joined Global Seafoods and ten years later after the sudden passing of Bob, Kim took over as General Manager. In 2016, Kim’s son James joined the company as Marketing Co-ordinator.
After very humble beginnings Global Seafoods now has a full-time staff of 23 passionate professionals around Australia.
Global Seafoods now offers top quality products and services to the Australian Food Service market with premium products for chefs, and the national retail market with a large range of easy-to-prepare retail products in our attractive new packaging.
The Global Seafoods team have enjoyed strong growth over the years, and we look forward many more years of providing quality, service, innovation and growth.
