Tempura Battered Prawns

Sustainably and ethically farmed, these succulent Vannamei prawns are dipped in tempura batter, then snap frozen to lock in freshness and taste.

INGREDIENTS

Tempura Batter (60%) (Wheat Flour, Vegetable Oils (Palm, Sunflower), Modified Starch (1420), Corn Starch, Salt, Raising Agents (450, 500), Wheat Protein, Whole Egg Powder, Emulsifier (471), Flavour Enhancer: Monosodium glutamate (621), Spices (Pepper, Sago), Colours (101, 160c, 306, 1450)), Prawns (Litopenaeus vannamei) (40%) (Crustacean) (Prawns (99%), Salt, Acidity Regulators (451, 452)).

Contains: Crustacean, Wheat, Gluten and Egg

PREPARATION & COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Keep frozen at -18°C and once defrosted use within 2 days. Do not refreeze.  

  • Do not thaw Tempura Prawns, cooked from frozen. This product must be thoroughly cooked prior to consumption.  

  • Cooking times may vary, these cooking times are a guide only. 

AIR FRYER, 200°C, 6-7 MINUTES

  • Add Tempura Prawns to the air fryer basket and cook for 6 - 10 minutes, or until golden and crispy (jostling the basket around halfway through cooking).  

OVEN BAKE, 200°C, 12-15 MINUTES

  • Place frozen Tempura Prawns on a non-stick baking sheet and place in the centre of the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden & crispy.   

DEEP FRY, 180°C, 3 MINUTES

  • Add Tempura Prawns to hot oil and deep fry for 3 minutes, or until golden & crispy.
